June 23-27 (Camp Thunderbird)
June 29 - July 3 (Camp Thunderbird)
July 7-11 (Camp Thunderbird)
The Webelos Camp program features a five day, four night camp complete with advancement activities focused on the “Outdoors and Nature” activity pins!
Each day offers a variety of pre-programmed activities including pellet guns, paintball gun shooting, archery, ice blocking, rock throwing range, hiking, games, canoeing, paddle boats, swimming and fishing as well as other evening activities provided by our excellent staff. Our activities program is on a multi-year rotation so that a Webelos who came to camp last summer will have plenty of new and different activities to do this summer. Webelos Scouts will enjoy the out-of-doors, play games, make new friends, learn Scouting skills and create memories that will last a lifetime. Campers can look forward to a fun-filled variety of evening activities centered around different periods in history. Webelos Camp activities are designed specifically to help Webelos prepare for the bridge into Boy Scouts and Boy Scout camp.
Scouts register and attend along with others from their packs or dens. Units are expected to provide adequate leadership for their unit at a ratio of 1 leader per 5 Scouts. Units will be assigned to campsites to assure a minimum of two leaders per campsite. Cubs who are not able to attend with their den or pack have the opportunity to attend with a parent (1 – 1 ratio, sorry, no siblings) through our ‘Pioneer Partners’ program.
Campers are expected to arrive beginning at 1:00pm on Day-1 of camp and check out by 11:00am on Day-5. |
